The Seattle Mariners
2016 Spring Training schedule
begins on Wednesday, March 2, with the annual Charity Game against the San
Diego Padres at the Peoria Sports Complex.
The opening game of the spring
season, which benefits several local Peoria, AZ, charities, is the first of
33 total games and 16 "home" games for the Mariners. The Mariners and Padres have shared the Peoria Sports Complex for spring training since 1994.
The Mariners will host both World
Series participants in Peoria. The American League Champion Kansas City
Royals will visit on Thursday, March 26, followed two days later (March 28)
by the World Champion San Francisco Giants.
Four night games are included in
the home schedule: Saturday, March 12 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers, Saturday March 19 vs the Arizona Diamondbacks, Wednesday,
March 23 vs. the Oakland A's, and Friday, April 1 vs. the Colorado Rockies.

To close out the 2016 training camp, the Mariners will play a
pair of games against the Rockies: Friday, April 1, at Peoria and Saturday, April 2, at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale.
Tickets for all Padres games at the Peoria Sports Complex will
go on sale January 9, 2016. Tickets may be purchased via
phone at 800-677-1227, or in person at the Peoria Sports Complex
box office located at 16101 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria, AZ 85382.
