San Diego Padres hold their 2008 spring training in Peoria,
Arizona. The Padres begin their 15th Spring in Peoria, AZ. on February
28 against the Seattle
Mariners. Padres pitchers and catchers report to Peoria on February 14,
while position players report five days later on February 19 before
beginning the 27-game Cactus League slate, including 14 Peoria Stadium home
games.
The Friars begin exhibition play
on February 28 in their annual Charity Game against the Seattle Mariners.
Official Cactus League action begins February 29, as the Friars host the
Kansas City Royals at Peoria Stadium.
The exhibition schedule concludes
with home-and-home games against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, starting
in San Diego on Friday, March 28. |
