The  San Diego Padres 2010 spring training will be the club's 17th Spring in Peoria, Ariz.

The Padres will play 16 of their 32 games in Peoria before traveling to close out the Spring slate with two games in California. The Padres will take on the Angels in Anaheim at 7:05 p.m. on April 1 before heading to Lake Elsinore to play their Single-A affiliate in a 6:05 p.m. tilt on April 2. The team opens the 2010 regular season on Monday, April 5 against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Channel 4 San Diego is scheduled to televise five games this Spring. In addition, all Padres Spring Training games except the charity game are broadcast live in English on XX Sports Radio 1090 AM, while Friday, Saturday and Sunday Spring Training games are also broadcast live in Spanish on XEMO 860 AM.

Tickets for all Padres games at the Peoria Sports Complex will go on sale Saturday, January 9, at 8:00 a.m. PT. Tickets may be purchased via phone at 800-677-1227, or in person at the Peoria Sports Complex box office. Individual game tickets are priced from $6 to $23 with discounts available for group purchases and season ticket packages. Padres' pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Peoria on February 18 with their first workout set for February 19. Position players are scheduled to report on February 24 with the club's first full-squad workout set for February 25. The team will begin the 32-game Spring slate with the annual charity game on Thursday, March 4 against the Seattle Mariners at Peoria Stadium. Official Cactus League action begins the following day, with the Mariners again hosting the Padres in the second of four consecutive contests between the Spring Training partners.
