The
Chicago White Sox will open their 2008 spring training
and 11th season of Cactus League play in Tucson, Arizona on February 27
against the Colorado Rockies at Tucson Electric Park (TEP).
The Sox will play 31
spring games, with 10 of the first 13 games in Tucson and four of their
final eight in the Phoenix area. They play host to the Cubs on March 15 and
play the Cubs in Mesa a week later.
The White Sox will feature two split squad contests: March 2 vs.
Arizona/at Tucson and vs. Tucson in Hermosillo, Miexico; March 7 vs. Arizona/at
TEP and away at the LA Angels in Tempe.
All Sox home games at TEP are scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. MT, except for
a 12:05 p.m. start on March 27 vs. Arizona to conclude the Cactus League
slate.
