The Orioles will open their 1st Spring Training season in Sarasota, Florida with a game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday, March 3, the first of 4 games against the Rays the club will play as part of their 2010 spring schedule.

Besides the 4 games against the nearby Rays the schedule also features five appearances facing the Boston Red Sox (three of those at home) and four games against the New York Yankees.

The Orioles will close out their inaugural Sarasota season April 3 at home against the New York Mets.

Orioles pitchers and catchers will hold their first workout in mid February.
